First Responder Behavioral Health - Interview with Dr. Marc Kruse

Hear from Dr. Marc Kruse, Vice President of Research and Development for First Responder Behavioral Health, as he talks about how the organization got started, what behavioral health is in relation to first responders, and how the company aims to improve the well-being of first responders through annual behavioral assessments. The annual assessment is comprised of surveying responders to look out for the "Big Five" which are depression, worry-based anxiety, PTSD, substance misuse, and impaired sleep. Once completed and results analyzed, First Responder Behavioral Health then explains the signs and the symptoms as well as the treatments available.

Make sure to join us for our upcoming webinar on March 2 with Dr. Kruse as he'll delve into the topic of "More than PTSD: What the data actually tells us about the behavioral health needs of First Responders." He'll discuss the evidence-based interventions designed to reduce the impact of impaired sleep for individual first responders and discuss department-wide initiatives that can be considered to reduce the impact of impaired sleep for all responders. All live attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Provident. Learn more and register here: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_YOzEMnkxQF2_LZfgURUsKA
